One card is a flex; eleven cards is a statement. The squad builder in FUT Cards takes the custom cards you've made and puts them on a pitch — real formations, editable team name, one clean exported image. Here's how to get the most out of it.
How it works
- Make your cards first. Each squad slot takes a saved card, so build your players in the card creator — database stars, custom photos, or a mix.
- Pick a formation. Classic 4-3-3, 4-4-2, 3-5-2 and more — each position slot sits where it should on the pitch.
- Fill the XI. Tap a slot, pick a card from your collection. The card's position badge helps you keep players in role.
- Name it and export. Give the squad a name and export the full lineup as a single high-quality image.
Squads worth building
- Your Sunday league team — a card for every player (photo upload + background removal), assembled in your actual formation. Team-chat gold.
- Community TOTS — run a vote, make the winners' cards, publish the XI. TOTS guide.
- All-time XIs — your club's greatest eleven, your country's best-ever squad, or the dream five-a-side of your mates.
- Concept squads — "if we sign these three in January" — with concept cards for the targets.
Making the lineup look right
Keep card designs consistent for a clean look (all gold rares reads like a matchday squad; all TOTS reads like an awards night) — or deliberately mix tiers to show a hierarchy: your star player in TOTY blue among golds says everything without a caption.
Tip: Export the squad and the individual star card together — the lineup for the group chat, the single card for the player's own story post.
